Navigating Fair Housing laws while protecting your property can be challenging. As awareness grows, it’s essential for management teams to be informed and confident when handling accommodation requests. This session focuses on the Fair Housing Act’s protections for individuals with disabilities and the requirements surrounding reasonable accommodations and modifications.

Participants will learn to:

  • Understand the legal definition of “Disability/Handicap” as defined by the Fair Housing Act.

  • Recognize key differences between the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act — and how each applies onsite.

  • Use proper language and resources when processing reasonable accommodation and modification requests.

Join us for this informative and practical session to ensure your team is compliant, confident, and compassionate when addressing assistance animal requests.
