The Apartment Association of Central Oklahoma was founded in 1976 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. AACO is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to unifying rental housing professionals through education, legislative reform and member services. The current membership of the association range from property owners, builders and developers, professional managment companies, on-site staffs (managers, leasing agents and maintenance technicians) and suppliers that provide a host of products and services within our industry. Working hand in hand, members of the AACO work together on a daily basis for the benefit of all members as well as the Oklahoma State Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association and gain access to their services and assistance. OMHA is a body that pays strict attention to the legislative process in Oklahoma. NAA is our national association and they provide local affiliates with information relating to the apartment industry as well as legislative updates from our nation’s capital.
Collectively, AACO Members manage more than 42,000 residential apartments totaling over $1.2 billion in real estate assets in the Central Oklahoma area.
